The Twenty-Seventh Session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) was held under the subject of thematic discussion, “Criminal justice responses to prevent and counter cybercrime in all its forms, including through the strengthening of cooperation at the national and international levels” between 14 and 18 May 2018 in Vienna, Austria. Contributions made by KIC to the Session included: (a) statements in the general debate on Item 5 and 7, respectively, on Thematic discussion on criminal justice responses to prevent and counter cybercrime in all its forms, including through the strengthening of cooperation at the national and international levels: current challenges and possible responses to them and Use and application of United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice; and (b) panel discussion at the PNI Workshop held on the topic, “Criminal justice responses to prevent and counter cybercrime in all its forms” on May 14th..
