Judge Mahboob Murshed from Bangladesh, presently Supreme Court Lawyer and Legal Adviser for Economic Development at Asia Foundation, visited the Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) on August 19. A discussion on the current state of cybercrime in Korea and related issues in criminal law was held. Issues covered include impediments Korea faces in implementing and enforcing cybercrime-related laws and initiatives taken by the KIC in conducting policy research on cybercrime.
