President Zin-Hwan Kim of the Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) visited United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner (OHCHR) in Seoul on November 24. At the Office, President Zin-Hwan Kim and Maruzuki Darusman, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the DPRK had a brief but intense discussion. The topics include accountability on the human rights infringement and crimes against humanity in the DPRK with regards to the unification in Korea. KIC showed support for the activities the Seoul OHCHR conduct in Korea and promised strong supports such as sharing research results and providing legal consultation.
