The Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) celebrated the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the electronic monitoring system on September 6, 2018. KIC co-hosted the conference with the Ministry of Justice Criminal Prevention Policy Bureau and the Korean Academy of Probation and Parole Services to examine the development and performance of the electronic monitoring system in line with the technological changes of the fourth industrial revolution, such as the internet.
