On October 30, 2019, Mr. Peter Lewis, Registrar of the International Criminal Court (“the ICC” or “the Court”) visited the KIC and shared views with KIC research fellows on ICC current issues and questions asked by KIC researchers on ‘criminal justice digital transformation programme’ and ‘ICC Visiting Professional Programme’ led by Crown Prosecution Service. The ICC is a permanent international court established to investigate, prosecute and try individuals accused of committing the most serious crimes of concern to the international community as a whole, namely the rime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.
