International Seminar for the 20th Anniversary of Probation & Parole System in Korea Date : 4 September, 2009 Venue : Korean Probation & Parole Office Host : Korean Institute of Criminology, Bureau of Crime Protection Policy of Ministry of Justice, Korean Academy of Probation and Parole Services KIC has co-hosted 「International Seminar for the 20th Anniversary of Probation & Parole System in Korea」with Bureau of Crime Protection Policy of Ministry of Justice, Korean Academy of Probation & Parole Services. In this seminar, Dr. Ira Schwartz (Former Vice President of Temple University, US), Dr. Mike Nash, (Dean of portsmouth university, UK), and Mr. Jürgen Mutz, (Former President of European Probation & Parole Association) have been invited to have presentations on 「The Trends of Juvenile Probation & Parole in US」, 「Changes in Public Protection and Probation in UK」 and 「The role of Probation & Parole within the Criminal Justice System in Germany」respectively. Two KIC researchers Dr. Kim Ji Sun and Dr. Hong Young-Oh also have participated in this seminar as a discussion panel and a presenter.
