The Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (President Tae-hoon Ha) held a joint academic seminar on Korea-China Criminal Procedure Law. The seminar was co-hosted with the Korean Association of Criminal Procedure Law and Chinese Academy of Criminal Procedure Law and was funded by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Korea and Chinese Law Society in Korea. The objective of the seminar was prepared to discuss the significance of the new investigation system and implementation plan as well as the status and role of prosecutors in the face of changes in the criminal justice field in both countries. The seminar was held in a hybrid form: offline at Samsung-dong Trade Tower and online via Zoom. In the seminar, in-depth presentation and discussion was delivered on: ▲ the current changes in the investigation system in Korea and China and its significance ▲ prosecutor’s representation of public good
