The 11th Annual Conference of the Asian Criminological Society was held on June 23~26, 2019 at Cebu, the Philippines. The main theme of the Conference is “Contextualizing Challenges in Criminology and Criminal Justice in Asia”. The conference was co-organized by the PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College and Asian Criminological Society. The KIC delegates participated in the conference and Dr. In Sup Han, President of the Korean Institute of Criminology, delivered the keynote address entitled, ‘Criminal Justice for Human Dignity in Korea: Achievement and New Challenge’. Dr. Seong-Jin Yeon presented ‘Electronic Monitoring of Offenders in Korea’ and Dr. Dae-Keun Kim gave a presentation on ‘Cybercrime and Response Strategy in South Korea’.
