On November 5, 2018, the Korean Institute of Criminology held an international joint research conference on the topic of effective investigation techniques and criminal policy in the cloud and edge computing environment with the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, the Korea Forensic Society, and the Korea Digital Forensic Society. The conference had speakers from Korea, Europe, Japan, U.S., and other countries shared their expertise in the following topics: cloud and edge computing environment, policy trends of the investigation organizations in the cloud and edge computing environment, trends in cloud and edge computing information protection technology and cloud, etc.
