On August 24, the Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) and the China Association of Criminal Procedure Law signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at China University of Political Science and Law to promote academic exchange and cooperation. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Zin-Hwan Kim, President of the KIC, Dr. Bian Jianlin, President of the Association, and other members of both institutions. The China Association of Criminal Procedure Law is a prominent research institute studying the Code of Criminal Procedure, the law of evidence, and the judicial system in China. The MOU is expected to be a major opportunity for both institutions to strengthen academic partnership and expand research networks in the Asian region.
