Honorary Professor and Lawyer Koichi Kikuta of Meji University visits Korea Institute of Criminology

Date: June 29, 2011 Honorary Professor and Lawyer Koichi Kikuta of Meji University visits Korea Institute of Criminology to meet with researchers and President Il Su Kim and discuss criminal matters in Korea. Having earned his doctorate at Meji University in Criminology, lawyer Koichi Kikuta participated as a professor of law at the university. As an honorary professor, he is also the vice president of ‘Jail Centers and Human Rights’, Chairman of ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’, and most importantly is a Japanese advisor of the Attorney General’s Advisory firm for ‘Review Committee on Criminal sermon’ working to revise laws. His continuous excellence in Criminology research has earned him the Kikuta Criminology award.
