Date: September 23, 2011 Venue: 12th Floor, Conference Room, KIC On the 23rd September 2011, scholars from the Institute of Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Denmark Institute of Human Rights (DIHR) visited KIC to learn about the death penalty and the administrative detention system of Korea. The participants discussed laws related to the death penalty and the administrative detention systems in Korea and China in order to reform the laws of China to better protect the human rights of its condemned criminals and detainees.
