KIC welcomed 80 prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General, Kingdom of Thailand, headed by Mrs. Oranit Bunnag, Director General of Training and Development Institute on 19 March 2013. This was the second consecutive year that the Office visited KIC as a part of the mutual cooperation. Staring with the welcoming remarks by President Kim Il-Su, KIC introduced the criminal justice system in Korea. Discussion between KIC and the Office of the Attorney General was followed. The two institutes have built strong relations, conducting joint research and study and exchanging courtesy visits annually, since signing the MOU in 2011. In particular, over 120 prosecutors of Office of the Attorney General of Thailand attended the 4th Asian Criminological Society Annual Conference, hosted by KIC, in August 2012, and have actively participated in the event.
