On June 19th (Wed), the Korean Institute of Criminology (president: Kim Il Su) and Korean Society of Criminology in America (President: J Heejong) held a joint academy about the comparison of crimes and policies in Korea and America. Criminologists working both in Korea and America had attended the academy, verified the crimes and discussed the establishment of an effective crime prevention policy.
